“What’s George R.R. Martin doing?”
“Not writing!”
It doesn’t matter what kind of creator you are–a writer, a painter, a musician, a fiber artist. There are going to be days (weeks, months….) where you aren’t feeling it. The muse has abandoned you. You’re blocked. Your well of inspiration has gone dry. You think you’ll never create again.
This blog can’t take those fears away. But we hope it’ll make you feel less alone, less of a failure, less of a creative person.
We all have challenges. Finding the time and energy to create can be especially difficult if you’re trying to cope with mental or physical illness. Dealing with those challenges can be a never-ending battle, and we have to be our own warriors.
Welcome to the Not Making blog.
